Fixed price projects are an option when the specification and required outcomes are well defined and low risk. This may, for example, be the case for a relayout of a PCB, an update of a software driver, or a well understood automated test rig. We also offer framework development agreements with individual schedules of work allowing easy follow on projects without the need to review the core development terms.Project scoping, derisking work, and research heavy projects are normally conducted on a time and materials basis with standard day rates. This simplifies engagements, allowing work to start quickly, avoiding delays negotiating detailed development contract terms. It also allows work to commence whilst the specification is being refined giving maximum flexibility for clients.
We are also happy to explore other commercial models including shared risk models where development is completed at costs in exchange for unit royalties. Please do contact us if this is of interest to you.
